Day 1: Arrive Casablanca, Morocco

Fly to Casablanca, where you receive VIP airport assistance and are quickly whisked through customs and immigration.

Day 2: Rabat & Fez | Ancient Traditions, Rich Heritage

Visit the Hassan II Mosque with its glass floor suspended directly over the sea. Continue to Rabat and the Mohammed V Mausoleum, Hassan Tower and Oudaya Kasbah. Travel to Fez for a special cocktail reception and dinner at a traditionalriad, where an expert guest speaker provides insight into Morocco’s traditions.

Day 3: Fez | Timeless Medieval City

Explore Fez el-Bali (Old Fez), strolling the lanes and souks of the labyrinthine old quarter. Visit the Karaouine, the Hispano- Moorish Attarine Medersa (Koranic college) and the Nejjarine Square. You also see the Royal Palace, madrasas and mellah(Jewish quarter) in Fez el-Jadid.

Day 4: Meknes | Roman Ruins of Volubilis

Journey overland to the well-preserved Roman ruins of Volubilis. In Meknes, see the Bab Mansour gateway, granaries and shrine of Moulay Ismail.

Day 5: Erfoud | Desert Oasis

Travel to small, desert-fringed Erfoud, marveling at everyday life as you pass Berber villages and the majestic Atlas Mountains.

Day 6: Merzouga | Saharan Desert Dunes

See the fortified desert town of Rissani and explore the quarry, site of fossilized fish. Set off for the desert dunes of Erg Chebbi by four-wheel-drive vehicle, where a reception with mint tea and pastries awaits at your nomadic tented camp. Erg Chebbi’s stunning dunes can reach up to 500 feet high, creating an otherworldly landscape. Experience it like a local on camel back, then return to your camp for a traditional meal and entertainment.

Day 7: Ouarzazate | Road of a Thousand Kasbah

Drive to Ouarzazate, once a stop for African traders. Visit a private museum showcasing the local culture and history. Continue on the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs,” and view the 17th-century Amerhidil Kasbah.

Day 8: Ouarzazate | Door of the Desert

Visit the Taourirt Kasbah and Aït Benhaddou, site of the region’s most exotic kasbahs. (Some of these structures have been featured in films, including Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator.) Proceed to the “red city” of Marrakech.

Day 9: Marrakech | Exhilarating Medina

Unearth the secrets of Marrakech, beginning in the medina, the old walled section of town. Marvel at the soaring Koutoubia minaret, and visit the Bahia Palace, an exemplary specimen of privileged life in the 19th century. Explore Djemaa el-Fna, Marrakech’s main square that is filled with vendors, musicians and snake charmers.

Day 10: Marrakech | Historic Gardens

Absorb the beauty of the 12th-century Menara Gardens. Continue as a local would by horse-drawn carriage to Jardin Majorelle, a picturesque garden created by French painter Jacques Majorelle. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Tonight, attend a special farewell dinner with entertainment by a local gnaoua band.

You may also choose to visit Al Karam for the opportunity to interact with Moroccan children.

Day 11: Depart Marrakech

Transfer to the airport for your international flight.
