It combines the energetic and mercantile life of Marrakesh with both the tranquility of the High Atlas (and its wonderful Kasbahs), and the vibrant silence of the Desert, where you will sleep under the stars or in a traditional Berber nomad tent.
We meet after breakfast in Marrakesh at your Riad, and start our tour in the direction of the High Atlas.
Then, we make our first stop to see a traditional Berber village.
We head through the highest road in Moroccos and we will enjoy the panoramic views of the southern High Atlas Mountains and their stunning views.
At lunch we stop at Ait Benhaddou, the most important site in the “Thousand Kasbahs” route that is classified as a World Heritage by UNESCO. It is famous as a backdrop for many films, including The Mummy, Gladiator and Game of Thrones.
When you arrive to Zagora via Draas Valey you will have a traditional moroccan tea waiting for you and a warm welcome by a desert family which you will able to get to know. After that you will go on Camel for about an hour to a Berber tent where you will have dinner, hearing nothing but your voice, or the ones from your fellow travelers.
After a familiar breakfast with a local nomad family we’ll return to Zagora by camel.
After some time to take a bath, our tour continues by going to Ouarzazate, where we will visit an important movie studio and have lunch.
We continue through Tizi nTichka pass, arriving in Marrakesh at the evening.
